Where the heck did the week go? I can’t believe we have arrived at the end of yet another week. Does anybody feel that as we get older, time flies by faster? I wasn’t as lucky to have as much ‘Me time’ this weekend as I had last weekend. I brought the kids to Indiana on Wednesday to be with my family. Mostly, I have just been doing family things. Last night though, I was able to sneak away and go out for a couple of drinks with my cousin. Did I say a couple? More like a lot! We had a great time, but I was paying for it this morning. Luckily, I had made plans to meet my grandparents and aunt at Dog and Suds for lunch. Yep, I ate a greasy coney dog and fries and drank the most delicious root beer. Perked me right up! As for my plans for ‘Me Time’ the rest of the week. Going to Japan without the kids!! WOO HOO!! Yeah, I can’t believe it either. 18 days, I’ve dropped the kids off with my mom and I am meeting my husband at the airport to celebrate our 10 year anniversary in Japan. Pinch me now. Did my mom really say she would keep the kids that long? I better get out of the door before she changes her mind!

18 days!?!?! You go girl! Have a great time with your hubby. Be free and careless like we all were pre-kids. I’m jealous but happy that you are enjoying yourself oh yeah and better get out QUICK before your Mom really has time to have the whole idea of kids again for 18 FULL days really sink in!
